I am in fact addicted to the drug hydrcodone,In 2004 I fell while carrying a 125 # load and i have been in bad shape ever since, I am attending physical therapy and taking other pain management meds…..The fact is i am hooked on the drugs I am well aware of that. I have informed my Doctor,and he reccomended the physical therapy along with some other meds and trying to taper off the vicodin, tapering is extremely difficult for me when i have a perscription for some reason. I want to tell my Doc. exactly whats ging on so i can get off the vicodin i really do want off it, but i am scared of him pulling my perscription completely…detoxing off vicdin is very hard,one of the hardest things i have ever tried in my life,but i have heard of docs not willing to help you once you fully confess your addiction..I cant afford impatient detox and i cant afford to miss work..do you know a way to buy the pills online ? Thank you very much to take the time out of your day to reply.i appreciate it.I am aware of my addiction and so is my entire family and my Fiance,I told my doc that if i stop taking the vicodin i have withdrawals but thats as far as i went into detail with him in a telephone appt. I get my perscription from my doc only so far…i havent doctor shopped once,I guess what im doing here would be considered just that,but i really only get it from my primary doc.I have a phone appt. with him in the am at 8:10 any advice on what to say to him? I have been on the online addiction forums and i know what it takes to kick this drug,despite what you may hear it is very unbearable to detox off an opiate, The only way i can see myself successfully ending the addiction is tapering off,I simply cannot stop cold turkey,some can and i admire them for being capable but i cant.
